| Gooseberry Grove is a proud supporter of the local community. Besides helping various organizations and associations raise money, Gooseberry Grove has itself been a generous benefactor to the East Norwich/Oyster Bay School District, the Girl Scouts, and many other non-for-profit organizations.
Gooseberry Grove is also a participant in the Annual Oyster Fest held every October. We hope you stop by one of our events. Below are listed some of our events.
JUNE 12, 2008 4-6PM–Girl Scout Cadette Troop 203 "Yes I Can™" Silver Award Project.
These handful of Girl Scout Cadettes age 14-15 years old, are raising hundreds of dollars by collecting thousands of redeemable soda cans and bottles and using the 5 cent deposit to help benefit children battling cancer at Schneider's Children Hospital. Gooseberry Grove will be donating the services of several inflatable rides as well as popcorn and cotton candy for the event. Also at the event will be "Lisa DJ", one of Gooseberry Grove's regular "party/event" entertainers. All are invited. Simply bring an empty redeemable soda can(s) for admission. And the Goose wishes these young women much success in their endeavor. |
