Although Gooseberry Grove opened only a few years ago in 2003, it has already become an Oyster Bay landmark. The store is located at 12 East Main Street, in the heart of Oyster Bay, New York. The store is a great venue for intimate children's parties. The store is open year round and is a major attraction during Oyster Fest in the late summer/early fall. In the winter during the holiday season, the town runs a horse drawn carriage through town so visitors can see the town's Christmas decorations. One of the main stopping spots is Gooseberry Grove where visitors can purchase hot coffee, hot chocolate, and because kids don't care how cold it is..."homemade" ice cream.
Gooseberry Grove accepts credit cards and is wheelchair accessible. Store hours change through the seasons. In the summer months the hours are 10am–10pm Monday through Saturday, and Sundays 11am–9:30pm. Please call for fall/winter/spring hours: (516) 628-0385.
And remember the good times don't stop at the doors. Gooseberry Grove is one of Long Island's best "your location" party caterers. Inflatable rides and amusements, concessions, food, ice cream, entertainment, and a whole lot more. Indoor merriment? No problem. Many of our services work great indoors too.
